Our Story

Food made the way it should be

Rosa's Mexican Restaurant opened its doors in Florence with a simple conviction: that the best meals come from real ingredients, patient hands, and a genuine love for the people sitting across from you.

Our tortillas are rolled by hand each morning. Our salsas are made from scratch. Every recipe carries something of Rosa herself — flavors shaped by tradition and refined by the belief that dinner should feel like coming home.

Whether you're joining us for a quick lunch or a leisurely evening, we hope you leave feeling the same way we do when someone tells us the food reminded them of their abuela's kitchen.

A taste of what's waiting

Every dish is prepared fresh to order. Our menu changes with the seasons and with whatever looks best at the market that morning.

Tacos

Soft corn tortillas, choice of seasoned meat or grilled vegetables, fresh pico de gallo, cilantro, and our house salsa.

Enchiladas

Hand-rolled in red or green chili sauce, filled with chicken or cheese, topped with crema and queso fresco.

Burritos

Large flour tortilla stuffed with rice, beans, your choice of protein, and fresh toppings. Served with salsa on the side.

Quesadillas

Crispy tortilla melted with Oaxaca cheese, served with guacamole and our signature salsa verde.

Guacamole

Avocados mashed to order with lime, cilantro, jalapeño, and a pinch of sea salt. Served with house-made tortilla chips.

Nachos

Crispy chips layered with melted cheese, black beans, jalapeños, and your choice of toppings. Finished with crema and pico.

Fresh Salsas

Made daily in small batches — from mild tomatillo to our habanero rojo. Ask your server for today's selection.

Horchata & Agua Fresca

House-made refreshments — creamy rice horchata, tart watermelon, or refreshing hibiscus. Always chilled and always fresh.
